C.E. Downes is an artist, writer and animator living in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

 

He wrote his first book, "100 Days Crazy," in high school, and subsequently received a degree in sitcom writing from New York University.

 

Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles and wrote an episode of Robotboy for Cartoon Network; and over the past few years has honed new skills in Photoshop and other art media, as well as teaching himself the basics of traditional animation.

 

He now works as a graphic artist producing album covers, posters, logos and other artwork for various clients, while pursuing various passion projects when he can.
